A friendly place to start your day with a coffee before conquering the world
Our passion in coffee and outdoor activities, by founders Cake & Harry Vowell, led us to pursue “Basecamp Coffee House” established in 2016 located in a humble single townhouse shop at the entrance to D-Condo, to our 2nd expansion located at D Hostel between 2017–2020 and now at our newly built Basecamp Trail Provision and Café on 2,800 sq.m of land at the base of two main trail heads. The first being the “Bamboo Trail” which can be accessed a little after the Galae Reservoir scenic view point. Secondly and perhaps the more popular “Pilgrim Trail” which leads up to Wat Phalad temple. Which ever trail you decide to take both trails lead on to the iconic Doi Suthep-Doi Pui summits.
At Basecamp Trail Cafe we understand the problems that arise from single-use regular plastics. To help reduce single-use plastics we offer a #BringYourOwn promotion. Bring your own mug or tumbler and receive a THB. 5 discount off all take away drinks. Due to COVID-19 we have heavy heartedly had to put this initiative on hold for sanitary reasons. Roughly 40% of plastic produced today is for single-use items [1] and we are trying to play our part in tackling this plastic pollution epidemic by using biodegradable plastics for our takeaway cups, lids and our straws are made from plants.
